Robert Josef Valentine Wagner Albums

This is a collection of albums featuring our son, Robert Josef Valentine Wagner. Here's a quick explanation of his name: Robert is the name of his grandfather and great-grandfather (both dad's side). Josef is the masculine form of one of his great-grandmothers (on his dad's side) and also the name of his great-great-grandfather (again, dad's side); as they are German, the J is pronounced like a Y. Valentine is the name of his great-great-grandfather (dad's side) and great-grandfather (mom's side). Wagner is the name he inherits; it is a proud name!

The photos here-in generally cover major events in his life. So, when those milestones happen, you'll see a new album and new pictures in here.

Mikaela Gabrielle Eleanor Wagner Albums

This is a collection of albums featuring our daughter, Mikaela Gabrielle Eleanor Wagner. Unlike her brother, the only name that is passed on from a relation is Eleanor, her maternal grandmother's middle name. Mikaela and Gabrielle are names mom and dad liked.

The photos here-in generally cover major events in her life. So, when those milestones happen, you'll see a new album and new pictures in here.

Yellowstone [ 8 pictures ]

On Geoffrey's way to Richland, WA for vicarage, he spent the Fourth of July 2001 in Yellowstone National Park. It started out a little overcast that day, but as the day went on, the clouds became more sparse. One of the pictures is a panoramic shot of a herd of buffalo in a rolling field. Yes, there are shots of Ol' Faithful. These are just a selection of the photos he took that day.

The photos were taken with a cheap Kodak Advantix C400 Advantix film camera and scanned on an HP Scanjet 3500c.

New Year 2003 [ 11 pictures ]

It was on New Year's Day, just after midnight (not even a full minute), that Geoffrey proposed to Genevieve. It was a nice trip away from St. Louis; they both needed a break. They spent most of the time with his parents in Tallahassee and a couple of days with his grandparents in Tampa. These are just a selection of the photos he took on that vacation.

The photos were taken with a Sony DSC-S85 Digital Still Camera.

Spring Tour 2003 [ 35 pictures ]

These are photos of the Concordia Seminary Chorus' Spring Tour 2003. They had stops in Ohio, New York, Boston, Washington DC, North Carolina, and back into Ohio. It was an interesting trip as the day they left, it started to snow, and it got heavier the further east they went from St. Louis. To top it off, the last two days of the tour were met with mechanical problems on the bus. One of the pictures show the cabin of the coach filled with smoke...that was the last day of tour. Mostly, you'll find pictures of the chancels and organs of the churches, maybe a steeple or two, and 'touristy' stuff along the way.

The photos were taken with a Sony DSC-S85 Digital Still Camera.

Wedding [ 3 pictures ]

Geoffrey and Genevieve's wedding...not much more can describe it. It was a wondeful day...they got married. Most of y'all married folk know what I'm talking about.

The photos were taken by a professional photographer using a film camera (brand and type I do not know) and scanned on an HP Scanjet 3500c or HP PSC 750xi. Trust me, we own the rights to these pictures, negatives and prints.

Ordination and Installation [ 15 pictures ]

On June 15, 2003, Geoffrey was ordained into the Office of the Holy Ministry; he became a pastor. He was set apart from before he was born to be a servant of the Lord Jesus Christ, and his training began four years prior. On July 27, 2003, He was installed as pastor to Bethesda and First English Lutheran Churches in Marion and Parker, SD. In a service of Evening Prayer at First English Lutheran Church, he vowed that he would love the people of these two congregations as if he were Jesus and they were his own sheep. These are pictures from those two events.

The photos of the services were taken from the video that was shot, using a Sony DCR-TRV350 Digital Handycam. Other photos were taken with a Sony DSC-S85 Digital Still Camera.

Butterfly House [ 22 pictures ]

On Saturday, July 10, 2004, Geoffrey and Genevieve were bored. Neither of them had any idea what to do. Suddenly, Geoffrey had a thought. He surprised Genevieve with a trip to Sertoma Park in Sioux Falls, with a visit to the Butterfly House there. Here are some of the snaps they took in the house. From the small Postman butterfly, to the behemoth Atlas moth, you'll see some beautiful wings in here.

UPDATED SEPTEMBER 10, 2004 Once again, they visited the Butterfly House. This time, it was while Geoffrey's parents were visiting from Florida. The newer pictures (which are the last 9 pictures) are from August 17.

The photos were taken with a Sony DSC-S85 Digital Still Camera.
